Thai Kitchen - St. Charles: Reviews & Ratings
Excellent meal with friendly and fast service. We ate in the dining room which is very clean and attractive. We shared pineapple fried rice, tofu with peanut sauce, spring rolls, curry potstickers, and crab rangoon. All delicious and plentiful portions. Will definitely enjoy coming here again! Highly recommend!
We had a great experience here! The food was delicious and fresh—we tried the fried rice, chicken cashew, and the seafood hot pot, and everything was cooked perfectly. The ambience was cozy and welcoming, and our server was super friendly and attentive. If I had to point out one thing, I’d say their highest spice level could go a bit higher for those of us who like an extra kick. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Definitely a spot we’d come back to!
Delicious food in a small strip. All 4 of us loved our food and sharing was a blast. The location has enough tables, but seems to have more takeout. On this cold night, the soup was a great pick.
Really solid choice for Thai in a somewhat run-down strip mall with lots of vacancies. You have to look to find the place because their sign is only visible when approaching from one direction. Make the effort! Started with house soup. Each cup was chock full of rice with some scrambled egg, sliced chives, carrots and other good stuff. Served hot enough to remove skin so let it sit for a minute before digging in. My lunch entree was spicy basil. I chose shrimp as my protein and was happy with the portion. Good size and cleaned. Vegetables were fresh, served with just a little bite remaining and absolutely perfect. Scoop of rice on the side of the bowl rounded out a pretty dang good interpretation of the dish. What was missing was any noticeable heat. Wife had the massaman curry with tofu. I usually like this dish quite a bit but was satisfied with a single small bite as opposed to splitting. I am indifferent about coconut milk in most dishes but thought that ingredient overpowered the dish. Wife is a big fan of coconut and loved her lunch. Definitely better than most Thai than we have found closer to the house.
First of all, the food was some of the most amazing Tai food I have ever eaten! The atmosphere was a calm environment with mellow lights. You gotta meat Mandy! Incredible lady! So sweet!
Very good, reliable meals. Excellent spring rolls. The only thing that could be better is if they used fresh mushrooms instead of canned. It clearly states 'canned mushroom' on the menu so no complaints about that, just think fresh mushrooms would make it even better. No one does tofu better than Thai Kitchen.
I ordered the Chicken Satay with sweetpickled onions and cucumbers, Duck noodle soup I added the dried chilli pepper "for spice", with summer rolls and Thai Coffee! Everything was amazing, nice quite dinning experience
Try different things. Thai food is a cuisine that is not always the same at each restaurant. Different regions, cultures, and traditions make a different taste/experience. #datenight continues. We had an amazing time at this restaurant. Very unassuming decor and seating. It's a rectangle strip mall location, so everything is linear, but they do an awesome job of making it work. Food We had so many things. We call ourselves getting level 2 spice, and between the temperature of the dish and the spice, it had my nose running FAST!!! So much herbacious basil flavor, coconut creaminess, and very well seasoned. It was so nice seeing people pour their heart into their craft. Excellent service. Wish I remember the names of everything.
